Menu Abisko resides in the borderland between Norway and Sweden. The Lofoten Islands' salty delicacies – fresh cod, dried and salted cod and king crab – compete for your attention with elk, grouse, and mushrooms and berries from our local mountains.
Genuine bar room tales told exclusively by "world champions". A lack of things to talk about is never a problem at the alpine hotel with a helipad just outside the front door. An hour into dinner, the day's heli-skiing adventures begin to take on new dimensions. Because, after all, wasn't today's run really just as incredible as the wine in the glass and the delicate salmon on your plate?
We love Slow Food
We are now an appointed Sapmi Slow Food Restaurant and officially part of the slow-food movement, something we have been working with since we started. Lots of thanks goes to our chef Fredrik who has been with us 4 years, and started everything for us. He has now moved on for further challenge´s. Lots of thanks also goes to chef Ilkka who is a dedicated slow-food chef! Our new chef is Pia. Hope you will enjoy dinner!
