Menu Abisko resides in the borderland between Norway and Sweden. The Lofoten Islands' salty delicacies – fresh cod, dried and salted cod and king crab – compete for your attention with elk, grouse, and mushrooms and berries from our local mountains.

Genuine bar room tales told exclusively by "world champions". A lack of things to talk about is never a problem at the alpine hotel with a helipad just outside the front door. An hour into dinner, the day's heli-skiing adventures begin to take on new dimensions. Because, after all, wasn't today's run really just as incredible as the wine in the glass and the delicate salmon on your plate?

We are now an appointed Sapmi Slow Food Restaurant and officially part of the slow-food movement, something we have been working with since we started. Lots of thanks goes to our chef Fredrik who has been with us 4 years now and started everything for us. Lots of thanks also goes to our new chef Ilkka who is a dedicated slow-food chef and will help us to the next level! We are really looking forward to the future of our kitchen!
